logical portions of the gelpacks allow faster transmission of electroplasma from controls to hardware and vice versa. Like many Federation starships, the Gage Hill features a small auxiliary spacecraft docked to the ventral side of the primary hull. The spacecraft, an Aeroshuttle, is named Gettysburg, after the historic battle during one of Earth's many civil wars, and the Space Shuttle in the Clive Cussler novel, Cyclops. The Gettysburg is patterned after a standard Danube class runabout. It also feature aerodynamic wings and vertical lift thrusters. In addition to the Gettysburg, the Gage Hill is outfitted with four Type-8 personnel shuttles and two Type-9 personnel shuttles. The Gage Hill is equipped with eleven standard phaser emitters. She also has four torpedo launchers, two forward, two aft. Onboard, the Gage Hill carries a compliment of 40 photon torpedoes as well as 15 quantum torpedoes. The U.S.S. Gage Hill, is, like all intrepid class starships, equipped with landing struts and atmospheric thrusters. These enable the vessel to land on a planet or large asteroid if necessary. Unlike many other vessels in Bravo Fleet, the U.S.S. Gage Hill and her crew obey Starfleet regulations. In compliance with the Treaty of Algeron between the Romulan Star Empire and the United Federation of Planets, the U.S.S. Gage Hill is not equipped with a cloaking device of any kind.
